Once our file is selected, a new
window is automatically opened.
This window is divided in 9 Framworks: Program Chain : we select our movie here DECSS : Let these parameters like this Audio : Choose the audio language and the audio quality
conversion 48KHz (DVD) to 44,1KHz (VCD-SVCD) Subtitle : Like
FlasKMPEG, you can include the subtitle in the picture Misc : Configure your encoding with your processor(s) (AMD,PIII,P4,...) Luminance Filter : Let these parameters like this Output Frame Rate : Select the right standard of your DVD
: DVD PAL or NTSC (the selection is normally automatic) Save your DVD drive : Let these parameters like this Deinterlace : Let these parameters like this
... and validate with the OK button
Now we will regulate the parameters
of Output. We click on the "Output settings"
option inside the "Settings" menu.
Now we get a new window
where we will cofigure our Output parameters.
In top on the left of the window, you can select the type of encoding. we
select here the Video CD (MPEG1) compression.
We have 6 frameworks in this window: MPEG specific : We configure here the option Motion
Search (Good), the mode of Calculation (MMX : Pentium, Celeron;
MMX + 3DNow : Athlon, Duron), the iDCT (MMX). Expert Settings : Let the parameters like this. Export Settings : Resolution VCD in according of our DVD
standard which is PAL System then 352x288 (for NTSC: 352x240)
ZOOM : Our movie is presented in widescreen version, it's better
to keep this aspect. Then we select the option "None (Letter
Box 4/3)" MAX Frame : We click on the "WHOLE"
button
We won't use the 2 last frameworks: "MISC" and
"Premiere plugin encoder". Volume don't exceed : We select the "Custom
Chapter"option and we click on the "Settings"
button on the right.
CUSTOM CHAPTER
Here we select in the order the chapter which
will be on our CDs. The total size volume of our movie will be 1475,6MB,
it's impossible to write this on one classic CDrom. her, we will configure
for 74mn CDrom (650MB).
In the first table, here I've selected the 9 first chapters for a total
size of 625,7MB (size be seen in the Selected Size field) and I clicked
on the "Create Volume" button. Do the same for
the next volumes. Our movie will be set up on 3 CDroms. We click on the
"Close" button, and click on the apply button
of the previous window.
