Encoder avec FlaskMPEG

First of all, download the FlaskMPEG software and install it.
Be sure than your DIVX codec is already installed too.
Once all is respected, we can start. I chose for example to encode the files of the DVD “The Crow” with a frame rate of 25 frames / second with 720*576 resolution which we will encode in DIVX PRO 5.0 format with a resolution of 528*288 with the original soundtrack (English) version with the French subtitles.
This encoding is divided into 6 Chapters :

  • Chapter - 1 - Open the DVD file
  • Chapter - 2 - Selection of the film, the language and the subtitles
  • Chapter - 3 - Configuration to export the film
  • Chapter - 4 - Configuration of compression
  • Chapter - 5 - Setup the encoding
  • Chapter - 6 - Extract the audio to ".WAV" format

    Chapître - 1 - Open the DVD file


    We go in the contents of the DVD THE_CROW inside the DVD-ROM where we will recover a quite precise file in file VIDEO_TS.
    The file which interests us is the file " *.IFO " of the film which is "VTS_01_0.IFO". We select this file and open it.
